Welcome to Ireland’s County Kerry, home of the aptly named Kerry Way — a 200-plus kilometer hiking trail that loops around the Iveragh Peninsula.
After 4 days of trail scouting across the Scottish Highlands for future tours with the Burning River Running Company and to train for my upcoming FKT attempt on the Ohio to Erie Trail as a fundraiser to fight breast cancer, I’m here to do a bit more of the same — but with Melanie by my side this time.
And it all begins in Killarney.
